Eizin Suzuki
Eizin began his career in advertising design around 1971, working as a designer and art director before making his debut as an illustrator in 1980.
He draws numerous illustrations, including record jackets for Tatsuro Yamashita and cover designs for FM Station magazine.In 1985, he exhibited 30 prints (lithographs) simultaneously at five galleries in Tokyo and Osaka under the title “EAST ALBUM” without staying in the world of commercial design. He established himself as a contemporary artist.
Since then, he has been energetically producing and presenting prints, and currently has over 300 works.
In addition to being an illustrator and printmaker, he is also active in a wide range of other fields, including art producer of the Kanagawa Prefecture Sagami Bay redevelopment project ‘Surf 90’, art director of the TAMA Raifu 21 redevelopment project in the Tama area of Tokyo, and creator of the Shonan International Village monument.
